The special edition MEU (SOC) 1911 by SOCOM Gear boasts an OD body that looks very good with your modern gear or for that contractor look! Featuring authentic licensed markings deeply engraved into the body. Comes with a free duty-grade HSS-Gear lanyard in black.

This single stack Special Edition MEU 1911 has been fitted with a WE-Tech PRO-GRIPS for enhanced stability when firing under adverse conditions. These grips are extremely durable and have the same texture and feel as those from Pachmeyr. The slide features both a forward as well as a rear serrated cocking surface, with a removable threaded tip for suppressor attachments (Suppressors Not Included). When no suprressor is required, the tip can be removed from the barrel for a flush look without offending barrel threads sticking out. Imitation rifling in the inner surface of the outer barrel give the MEU an authentic look! Beaver tail and tactical Novak style sights complete the combat look. Lightened hammer and trigger also make for fast response. If you want to attach lasers and flashlights, then the tactical RIS rail up front is perfect!

This is a very nice replica of the NOVAK NEXT pistol. Based upon the latest 1911 and custom styled by SOCOM Gear. The Novak NEXT features a replica of the unique rubberised NOVAK / Mil-Tac Grips G10 with NOVAK Medallions, and authentic NOVAK NEXT engravings.

The MEU is a modified M1911A1 .45 caliber pistol sometimes referred to as near match or combat accuratized. The MEU(SOC) Pistol is the designated backup weapon of Marines armed with the 9mm MP5-N Close Quarters Battle weapon. The M1911A1 was chosen for this role because of its inherent reliability and lethality, and because the MEU(SOC) modifications make the M1911A1 design more user friendly.
The unique characteristics of the MEU(SOC) pistol are: commercial/competition grade ambidextrous safety, precision barrel, precise trigger, and rubber coated grips, rounded hammer spur, high profile combat sights, and an extra-wide grip safety for increased comfort and controllability (which aids in a quick follow-up second shot). The issue magazines are replaced with stainless steel competition-grade magazines with rounded plastic follower and extended floor plate.

A solidly built pistol, this WE MEU replica is made completely of metal with a diamond textured rubberised grip, it feels very realistic in your hand. The blowback action is nice and smooth. Featuring realistic markings machine stamped into the body, and has a loop for a lanyard.
