This is a identical to the standard Dboys Kar98 only with a real wooden stock. So no seem lines here just lots of lovelly smelling wood. You load a single BB into each shell then enjoy pure bliss as each shell loads, fires and is then ejected. It is a spring rifle so you are guranteed a reasonable performance regardless of the weather. With an estimated 14 million of these little crackers made I think it is time to start goose stepping!

History:
The Karabiner 98k was a bolt-action rifle with Mauser-type action holding five rounds of 7.92x57mm Mauser on a stripper clip, loaded into an internal magazine. It was derived from earlier rifles, namely the Karabiner 98b, which in turn had been developed from the Mauser Model 1898. The Gewehr 98 or Model 1898 took its principles from the Lebel Model 1886 rifle with the improvement of a metallic magazine of five cartridges. Since the rifle was shorter than the earlier carbines, it was given the designation Karabiner 1898 Kurz, meaning "Short Carbine Model 1898". The standard Karabiner 98k iron sights could be regulated for ranges from 100 m up to 2000 m in 100 m increments.

Essentially the TM VSR 10 G-SPEC which is a silenced copy of the Remington M700. The rifle is black with a soft grip body similar to that of the M14 Socom in Olive Drab. Performs solidly out of the box just like it's more expensive brother.

History:

Both the U.S. Army's M24 Sniper Weapon System and U.S. Marine Corps' M40 sniper rifles are built from the Remington Model 700 rifle, in different degrees of modification. Around 90% of the police sharpshooter rifles in the United States, as well as in a number of countries outside of the United States, are based on Model 700s, specifically the 700PSS model (now known as the 700P).

Update: Warrior have upgraded their L96 with stronger internals. These are easily identified as the rifle now comes in a black box instead of a white box.

The amazing value Warrior L96 is a direct clone of the Maruzen version. They come preupgraded to approximatley 400 FPS. They feel very solid and the finish is very nice. The magazine is metal and also feels very well constructed. Very cleverly these do not push the feeder from the magazine into the hop unit when it's empty like the Maruzen version. These look like they could hold their own against any other L96 on the market... apart from these are much cheaper of course.

AGM's great offering into the L96 market. Not an exact copy of the Warrior/Maruzen version and uses a different magazine . It comes preupgraded to 400 fps and feels very solid. The finish is excellent.
