Setup tips that actually help

  • BB weight: Start at 0.25 g for indoor sites, step up to 0.28 g outdoors for a steadier arc.
  • Hop-up: Set it to hold level flight at your typical engagement distance, not to float forever.
  • Mags: Run a few spares and rotate them. Lightly gas and store upright to protect valves.
  • Lubrication: A drop of silicone oil on slide rails and mag O-rings goes a long way. Avoid petroleum on rubber.

Cold-weather pointers

Keep mags in an inner pocket, don’t rapid-dump full mags and consider CO₂ or a lighter recoil spring if your model supports it. Short, controlled strings keep performance stable.

Safety and UK guidance

Eye protection comes first. Follow site FPS or joule limits for pistols and check rules on pyro or tracer use. If you don’t have a defence yet, two-tone options let you start playing while you work toward regular site attendance.
