Evolution Gear

Evolution Gear (EG Tactical)

Evolution Gear, also known as EG Tactical or EGTactical, is a specialist manufacturer of high-detail tactical gear, optics, and accessories designed for airsoft, milsim, skirmish, and wargaming use. Based in China and operated by NEOTAC CO., LIMITED, the brand focuses on producing realistic, durable replicas of popular real-steel equipment at accessible price points. Their product range prioritises accurate external details, solid materials, and practical performance suited to the demands of modern airsoft and milsim loadouts.

The company’s philosophy centres on continuous improvement and quality. They emphasise CNC-machined aluminium components, hard-anodised finishes, clear optics glass, and constructions that can handle the recoil of gas blowback rifles (GBBR-rated models). Many products feature realistic markings, improved battery compartments, reduced parallax, brighter reticles, and enhanced impact resistance compared with earlier generations of replica optics and gear.

Optics and Sights

Evolution Gear is particularly well regarded for its optical replicas. The range includes:

• Holographic-style sights such as the popular EXPS3 series (including updated 2026 versions with improved clarity, brightness, and GBBR durability)
• Red dot sights modelled on Aimpoint-style T1/T2, COMP M5/M5S, Romeo 4T/4XT PRO, and enclosed emitter designs
• Magnifiers including G33 and 3XMAG-style units with side-flip or QD mounts
• Low Power Variable Optics (LPVOs) and fixed-power scopes in various magnification ranges
• Combo packages that pair holographic or red dot sights with matching magnifiers and mounts for ready-to-use setups

These optics are frequently chosen by players seeking authentic appearance for milsim kits while delivering usable clarity and zero retention for airsoft engagements.

Lasers, Illuminators and Aiming Devices

The brand offers replica laser aiming modules and illuminators, including NGAL-style units (LED and higher-spec versions), MAWL-style pointers, and related dual-switch systems. These are popular for night operations, night-vision compatible loadouts, and realistic special-forces style builds.

Helmets and Headborne Systems

Evolution Gear produces a wide selection of tactical helmets, including high-cut, maritime, and AF/FAST-style shells. Many feature:

• ABS construction with realistic weight and thickness
• Side rails for accessories
• NVG shrouds (including 3-hole and 4-hole skeleton-style options)
• Velcro panels and retention systems
• Options in solid colours and multicam patterns, with deluxe versions offering enhanced liners and finishes

Complementary products include L4G24-style NVG mounts, battery packs, and helmet covers.

Mounts, Rails and Accessories

A strong supporting range of mounts and hardware is available, covering:

• QD and fixed optic mounts at various heights (including 1.54", 1.93", 2.26", 2.91" centreline options)
• Magnifier side-flip and FTC mounts
• Hybrid and multi-device mounts (e.g. for combining red dots with lasers)
• Picatinny and specialised risers

Soft Goods and Load-Bearing Equipment

Beyond hard gear, Evolution Gear manufactures pouches, admin panels, hydration carriers, slings, and related tactical soft goods, often in multicam and other popular patterns. These items support complete plate-carrier and belt setups for milsim and recreational play.
