- RWA Agency Arms EXA GBB Pistol
Product description
The RWA Agency Arms EXA Pistol is a major milestone for RWA—it's the first gas airsoft pistol they’ve released under the combined Agency Arms & Lone Wolf Distribution licenses. Even more exciting, this exact configuration is the one used by Agency Arms Asset Paul Vandunk, which gives the EXA a level of authenticity and purpose you can feel the moment you pick it up. From the start, it stands out visually with the Agency Arms “EXA Hybrid” slide cut, a mid-line fluted outer barrel, and a blacked-out inner barrel that adds realism without looking overly busy. One of the most unique details is how the slide and outer barrel sit flush with each other, a look you don’t often see on other pistols in this style.
Out of the box, the EXA keeps things clean and consistent with a fiber optic front sight paired with a blackout rear sight. The result is a sharper, easier sight picture—giving you that visual clarity that many players associate with red dot-style setups, just in a traditional sight format. The pistol also includes the adjustable “Syndicate” trigger, a feature new to the RWA Agency Arms line. This trigger lets you fine-tune sensitivity and take-up, and it delivers from the first pull: solid, responsive, and backed by a clearly audible reset. The break is clean and consistent, and after repeated shots it reinforces that this is a high-quality custom trigger designed for real control, not just looks.
The frame is where the EXA really separates itself. It’s a fully licensed Lone Wolf Timberwolf frame made to Agency Arms specifications, and it’s noticeably different from a standard Glock-style frame even at a casual glance. Expect a straighter grip angle for a more natural feel, a higher beavertail to help mitigate recoil, and accelerator cuts near the front that work like a thumb shelf for better recoil control. It also features a reversible magazine release, making it friendly for left- or right-handed shooters. For grip, the “Shark Scale” faux stippling offers one of the best out-of-the-box holds in its category, while the interchangeable back-straps let you dial in fit—whether you prefer the slimmer feel associated with 1911-style ergonomics or a more contoured setup more familiar to XDM or SIG users.
Capacity and handling details stay practical too. The magazine includes a bumper baseplate for aesthetics inspired by real-world metal options, and while it doesn’t add true capacity in airsoft, it helps protect the mag and offers some extra security against minor impact. Reloading is smooth thanks to the low-profile magwell that’s installed on the EXA, and the platform is designed to be compatible with other magazines as well (including some Umarex/VFC Glock magazines and TM G series magazines), with minor adjustments expected for a perfect fit. Finally, because the EXA’s overall footprint is similar to a Glock 17, you can use many of the same accessories such as flashlights, lasers, and holsters—making it easy to build out your setup without starting from scratch.
In short, the RWA Agency Arms EXA isn’t just a licensed look—it’s a carefully built custom-style pistol focused on realism, grip comfort, recoil control, and day-to-day usability for serious airsoft players.
